Created by David E. Kelley, The Lincoln Lawyer is a legal drama series, made for Apple TV+. Kelley is also the executive producer alongside Ted Humphrey, Michael Connelly and Ross Fineman.

The first season of the series premiered on May 13, 2022 and received positive reviews from critics. It currently holds an approval rating of 79% on Rotten Tomatoes and considering the positive response, the makers have renewed the series for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere soon.

Since The Lincoln Lawyer was renewed for a second season in June 2022, the makers have not revealed much about what would happen in Season 2. However, it will continue from where the first season ended.

The series is based on the book series by Michael Connelly and the new season will be based on The Fifth Witness. The first season of the series was based on the second book, The Brass Verdict. When his former law partner is killed, Mickey Haller is left to take over the firm, including a high-profile murder trial.

With the biggest case he’s ever had to tackle out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, Mickey discovers there may be more at stake than he thought. Further details shall be revealed in the next few months. Coming to the cast, we should get to see Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, Angus Sampson and Christopher Gorham in the lead roles.
