Created by David E. Kelley, The Lincoln Lawyer is a legal drama series, made for Netflix. Kelley is also the executive producer alongside Ted Humphrey, Michael Connelly, and Ross Fineman.
The first season of the series premiered on May 13, 2022, and received positive reviews from critics. It currently holds an approval rating of 79% on Rotten Tomatoes and considering the positive response, the makers have renewed the series for a third season, which is scheduled to premiere soon.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Plot
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger and it easily set up the plot for the third season. In Season 2, the trial of Lisa Trammell ended and Mickey Haller was proved to be not guilty. But there was a possibility that she had a lot of other secrets hidden for a long time. As Mickey realized that the associate of Alex Grant, Walter Kim, was possibly guilty, he started to suspect that Lisa was the main mastermind behind everything. Towards the end of Season 2, someone attempted to kill Micket in an auto accident.
Mickey then met Lisa and understood that she was guilty of murdering her husband and also planning the same. Mickey found that Lisa was also responsible for Jeff Trammell’s death and the police eventually discovered the dead body. Lisa returned for the trial for a new murder and she did not have Mickey with herself this time. Mickey then arrived to work on the case of the person who was charged of Giselle Dallinger’s murder. But while he went to identify the body, he discovered that it was his client, Glory Days.
According to reports, the plot of the third season is expected to follow the worlds of Gods of Guilt. But further details are yet to be disclosed regarding the storyline of the upcoming season.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 2 Release Date and Cast
The first season of The Lincoln Lawyer was released in May 2022 and it was renewed for a second season in June 2022. The second season was released in two parts. The first part was released on July 6, 2023, and the second was released on August 3. But the release date for The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 is not confirmed yet.
The upcoming season is expected to have ten episodes like the first season. The series is produced by David E. Kelley Productions, Hieronymus Productions, Algorithm Entertainment, Fineman Entertainment, and A+E Studios.
With the biggest case he’s ever had to tackle out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, Mickey discovers there may be more at stake than he thought.
