Developed by Free Range Games, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is an upcoming 2023 survival-crafting video game that will be published by North Beach Games. The upcoming game is set during the Fourth Age of Middle-earth after the events of The Lord of the Rings and follows a company of dwarves led by the character Gimli as they try to retake their homeland Moria and restore the long-lost ancient kingdom of Khazad-dûm. The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria is soon going to be released for multiple platforms.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria: Release Date
The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria was first disclosed with a trailer that came out in June 2022 during the Epic Games Summer Showcase. The game will be available only for Microsoft Windows and can be accessed from the Epic Games Store. The original release date was planned to be somewhere in 2023 but it has been rescheduled to October 24, 2023. However, a release for consoles and mobile devices has not been confirmed.

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will feature a world that is going to have mines and most of them are going to be dark. The players just need to find resources like iron, gold, quartz, gemstones, and more. There will be different other items like weapons, armor, resources, and more. The players need to harvest the food and maintain their sleep alongside the temperature, noise levels, and cave trolls to emerge as the survivors in the end.
There will be creatures hiding inside the cave and the players have to confront them at the same time. Players need to establish their base and find ancient items like swords that would glow blue. Other activities that must be completed include making various plans and recovering old mines which would help to progress further.
They would also find different paths that would be blocked with something and the history of the dwarves will be an important part of the game. Necessary changes can also be made to the dwarves and a player can also host his or her Moria so that more players can join in the multiplayer mode.
