Fans of adventure and romcom films will be very glad to know that The Lost City is coming very soon! The Paramount feature film, previously known as The Lost City of D combines the best of the two genres into one action packed movie. It is supposed to be in the manner of Robert Zemeckis’ classic Romancing the Stone. It follows reclusive romance novelist Loretta Sage as she sets off on a book tour with her cover model Alan. The duo then becomes entangled in an abduction attempt. This leads them into a dangerous adventure in the heart of the jungle. Thus the film has a very fresh premise. The Lost City: Plot and Cast

The official synopsis of the film reads as follows:

“Brilliant, but reclusive author Loretta Sage (Sandra Bullock) has spent her career writing about exotic places in her popular romance-adventure novels featuring handsome cover model Alan (Channing Tatum), who has dedicated his life to embodying the hero character, “Dash.” While on tour promoting her new book with Alan, Loretta is kidnapped by an eccentric billionaire (Daniel Radcliffe) who hopes that she can lead him to the ancient lost city’s treasure from her latest story. Wanting to prove that he can be a hero in real life and not just on the pages of her books, Alan sets off to rescue her. Thrust into an epic jungle adventure, the unlikely pair will need to work together to survive the elements and find the ancient treasure before it’s lost forever.”

Therefore we  can see that the film has a very fun and fresh premise. It is shaping up to be a good watch indeed!

As for the cast, Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe and Brad Pitt are the lead actors of the film. With such a stellar cast, the film has caused a lot of hype and buzz on the internet.
