The first season of Mandalorian focused on baby Yodha but in the second season of series, Moff Gideon gets a much larger role to play. The return of a fierce and formidable antagonist. Sounds interesting!! It seems the producers have a plan to heat things a bit in the second season.
Moff Gideon was an ex operative in the Imperial Security Bureau of Galactic empire. After the fall of the empire, his world changed and he has become a warlord of sorts. The title Moff refers to high ranking Imperial officer in command for a specific sector of space. He is shown as an intense man who can do anything to fulfill his wants and desires. In the first season, Moff Gideon appeared for the first time in the second last episode. Gideon attempts to capture a young alien known as “The Child”.

In the series, Moff Gideon is played by Giancarlo Esposito. The actor was widely appreciated for his role in Breakin Bad as Gus Fring. His subtle ways as well his intellect was loved by fans. This time as well he plays the villain’s role but a very different villain.
The actor has no dearth of acting talent and he can do full justice to the role of Moff Gideon. He will be a ruthless and smart villain. Moff Gideon will be doing all sorts of actions coupled with explosive dialogues that will be surely loved by fans. He will also be wielding the mythical Darksaber. Another interesting fact about Darksaber is that if anyone wants to have it, he must defeat the owner of Darksaber in a duel. Also typically, if anyone has the Darksaber, that person is considered the leader of Mandalorians.
Expected release date
Well, we have already hyped things a bit. But need not worry, the series is scheduled to be released in October 2020.
