The second season was released on December 5, 2018. The third season was aired on December 6, 2019, followed by the fourth on February 18, 2022. The show is already renewed for a fifth season and it is scheduled to premiere soon.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 5 Release Date

On February 17, 2022, Amazon renewed the series for a fifth season. Since the official release date has not been announced yet, we can expect it to release sometime in 2023.

The number of episodes for the upcoming season is not confirmed since it has been different in the previous four seasons. However, the rest of the details shall be confirmed once it premieres.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Plot and Cast

We’re not quite sure about the plot will be in the fifth season, because we’ve barely got started on season four.
At the moment, Midge is at a bit of a loss after being fired from Shy Baldwin’s world tour quickly and abruptly for insinuating he was gay during her act.

Returning to her typical Upper West Side world of New York, she feels a little like she’s starting again. But since there are six more episodes left to go and the cast has now already warned that reality and fiction are going to mix a little more as they head into the 1960s.

Luke Kirby, who plays Lenny Bruce (a real-life comedian of the era), is back as a potential romantic interest for Midge. But it’s been confirmed his battle with drug addiction will soon start to take hold.

In reality, Lenny died from a morphine overdose in 1966, aged just 40. In the timeline of the series, that’s only six years from where we pick up with Maisel in season four.  While it’s unlikely we’ll see it happen in season four, a little time jump is all we’ll need to get there for the final season.

It wouldn’t be The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel without Midge, played by Brosnahan. Past seasons have also starred Alex Borstein as Midge’s manager Susie Myerson, in addition to Michael Zegen (Joel Maisel), Marin Hinkle (Rose Weissman), Shalhoub (Abe Weissman), Kevin Pollak (Moishe Maisel) Caroline Aaron (Shirley Maisel), Luke Kirby (Lenny Bruce) and Jane Lynch (Sophie Lennon).

Season 4 also welcomed new additions to the cast, including Kelly Bishop, Milo Ventimiglia, John Waters, and Jason Alexander
