Directed by Nia DaCosta, The Marvels is an upcoming American superhero film. The film is made on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and by Marvel Studios, it is considered to be the sequel to Captain Marvel (2019), a continuation of the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel (2022), and the 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The Marvels Plot and Cast
Although there is some time left for the release of The Marvels, a tweet shared on the Disney Press site disclosed a few details about what we would get to see.
The tweet states that Carol Danvers has taken her identity from the Kree and plans to take revenge on Supreme Intelligence. However, she also has to sort out the problems happening in the universe that has been out of control. Her duties send her to a wormhole related to a Kree revolutionary and her powers get attached to her fan, Kamala Khan, or Ms. Marvel and Danvers’ niece Monica Rambeau. The trio will possibly team up together in the upcoming sequel in an attempt to save the universe.
Coming to the characters, it includes Brie Larson as Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau / Photon, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, and many more are there.
The Marvels Release Date
In January 2020, the official development for the film has begun and pre-production work on the film was starting by February 2021.
The makers have finally revealed the release date for the upcoming film after a long wait. It is scheduled to be released theatrically on July 28, 2023, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
