The Ms. Pat Show Season 3: Release Date, Plot, and more!

Created by Jordan E. Cooper and Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams, The Ms. Pat Show is an American television sitcom. The series is based on the comedy and life story of comedian Ms. Pat as a convicted felon from the streets of Atlanta turned reluctant suburban mother.

The sitcom premiered for the first time on BET+ on August 12, 2021. The first season had ten episodes and on September 2, 2021, BET+ and the second Season aired on August 11, 2022. BET+ renewed the series for a third season, which is scheduled to premiere soon.

The Ms. Pat Show Plot and Cast

In Plainfield, Indiana—Ms. Pat’s actual hometown—the show is filmed. It centers on the fictional Carson family, which includes Ms. Pat, her husband J. Bernard Calloway, her sister Tami Roman, and Pat’s kids – Brittany Inge, Vince Swann, Briyana Guadalupe, and Theodore Barnes.

Pat, a contemporary “Archie Bunker,” occasionally finds it difficult to adapt to her conservative hometown in Indiana’s newer, more liberal ways. Despite being direct and even hardheaded, Pat loves her family and has an open-minded side, which aids in her success as a black woman in a predominantly white community.

The Ms. Pat Show may contain unpredictable episodic happenings, but the season’s bigger, overarching themes tend to be more explicit. The main focus of Season 3 of The Ms. Pat Show will be the disagreement between Pat and Terry about her choice and his views on abortion. Denise’s battles with addiction and Ashley’s difficulties in romantic relationships following her partner’s betrayal are different tale themes that may be anticipated to be discussed.

After a successful first and second seasons, it is now set to return for a third season after the BET network approved its renewal. The Mr. Pat Show Season 1 has received positive reviews from fans and critics and currently has an approval rating of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. It has been rated 8.3/10 on IMDB.

The series might have 10 episodes like the first two seasons, although an official confirmation is yet to announce.
