Developed by Adam F. Goldberg, Bill Barretta, and Jeff Yorkes, The Muppets Mayhem is an upcoming comedy musical series, made for Disney+. It is based on the puppet characters The Muppets by Jim Henson.
Goldberg, Barretta, and Yorkes are also the executive producers alongside Michael Bostick, Kris Eber, David Lightbody, and Leigh Slaughter. The series’ development was announced in February 2022 and is scheduled to premiere soon.

The Muppets Mayhem Plot and Cast
The series will follow The Electric Mayhem Band as they go on an epic musical journey to finally record their first studio album. Singh will play the (human) lead role of Nora, a driven junior A&R executive tasked with managing and wrangling the mayhem that is The Electric Mayhem Band.
With the help of Nora, the old-school Muppet band comes face to face with the current-day music scene as they try to finally go platinum. Further details related to the plot shall be revealed soon and considering that it is still under development, we cannot say anything for sure.
However, coming to the cast, we will get to see Lilly Singh, Tahj Mowry, Saara Chaudry, and Anders Holm in the lead roles. The other actors cast as Muppet performers include Bill Barretta, Peter Linz, Eric Jacobson, Matt Vogel, David Rudman, and Dave Goelz.
The Muppets Mayhem Release Date
Production for the show started back in April 2022 and Matt Sohn and Kimmy Gatewood were bought in to direct the episodes. The show is now confirmed to premiere sometime in 2023.
The number of episodes for the new show has not been revealed yet. The series is produced by ABC Signature and The Muppets Studio.
