The second season of The Mysterious Benedict Society is a month away from its release. Created by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, The Mysterious Benedict Society is a mystery-adventure series adapted from Trenton Lee Stewart’s children’s book series of the same title. The television adaptation came into being with its first season which launched on June 25, 2021. The executive producers of the series include Hay, Manfredi, James Bobin, Deepak Nayar, Karen Kehela Sherwood, Todd Slavkin, Darren Swimmer, and Jamie Tarses. The Mysterious Benedict Society Season 2: Plot and Cast

The plot of season 2 will be based on the second book of Stewart’s children’s book series. The four dauntless children reunite after a year following the completion of their first mission in which they were assembled and sent off by Mr. Benedict and his squad to sabotage the wicked “Emergency” framed by Dr. L.D. Curtain, the twin brother of Mr. Benedict. On their return, they now have to venture out and trust their intellect, wits, and empathy in order to refrain Curtain to implement his new strategy that would have global consequences.

The core cast of The Mysterious Benedict Society reprises their roles in season 2. It includes Tony Hale as Mr. Nicholas Benedict and Dr. L.D. Curtain/Nathaniel Benedict, Kristen Schaal as Number Two, MaameYaa Boafo as Rhonda, Ryan Hurst as Milligan, Gia Sandhu as Ms. Perumal, Mystic Inscho as Reynie Muldoon, Seth B. Carr as George “Sticky” Washington, Emmy DeOliveira as Kate Wetherall, and Marta Kessler as Constance Contraire.
