When is it going to come out? Read more to find out!
The Godfather: Plot and Cast
The Godfather is a crime drama film based on Mario Puzo’s novel of the same name. Francis Ford Coppola directed the movie while Puzo wrote this screenplay. It focuses on the story of the Corleone family, headed by Don Vito Corleone. Vito descends from the Corleone crime family and is as ruthless as the rest of them.
Much of the movie showcases the dangers that the family faces due to being a part of the Five Families. These five crime families are the Corleones, the Tattaglias, the Barzinis, the Cuneos, and the Straccis. It also shows how Vito’s son Michael changes from someone who is disinterested in the family business into a ruthless mafia lord.
At first, Michael manages to convince his wife Kay that he is innocent and doesn’t have a murderous turn of mind like his father. However, upon Vito’s untimely death due to a heart attack, he manages to protect his family through the family crime business. He orders the deaths of other dons in New York City. Kay finds out about his place when she sees the hitmen pay reverence to the now Don Michael Corleone.
Marlon Brando plays Vito Corleone, Al Pacino plays Michael Corleone and Diane Keaton plays Kay Adams in the first movie of the series.
The Offer: Release Date
Although no release date has been set for the TV series so far, it is to be released on Paramount+. It is too early in the production for any details to come out either. However, reports show that The Offer will be based on the details of the offers made by Vito Corleone in his mafia career.
