After enormous leaks and promotional campaigns, the OnePlus 6T has been finally launched. The leaks were wandering throughout the internet since the past 6 months and OnePlus 6T has been officially launched at an event in New York yesterday. Talking about the device itself, the OnePlus 6T comes with a water drop notch, in-display fingerprint scanner, and also a bigger and improved battery.

The all-new OnePlus 6T sports a 6.4-inch display which is slightly bigger than the one on the OnePlus 6 which is 6.28 inches. But then, the good thing is that the bottom bezels now are really thin and that’s where the in-display fingerprint scanner sits in. Coming to the battery, the OnePlus 6T packs in a 3,700 mAh battery which is 12% bigger when compared to the 3,300 mAh one on the OnePlus 6. This definitely makes the devices look a little bit taller and heavier one compared to the predecessor, 3T to be precise.

Talking about the optics, the rear camera comes with a dual 16MP+20MP setup with an aperture of f/1.7 and is also capable of taking 2X telephoto shots. Towards the front, we’ve got a 16MP sensor with f/2.0. The camera can definitely produce better HDR images when compared to the OnePlus 6 and the device does come with a new Nightscape feature similar to the Pixel 3’s night sight. The all-new OnePlus 6T is powered by the Snapdragon 845 chipset and is coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM.

OnePlus 6T also comes with a couple of changes in their OS, they have introduced the new Gaming mode and the Smart Boost, and the device does come with a 20W dash charger. Talking about the pricing now, the 6GB+128GB variant is priced at $550 and the 8GB+128GB variant is priced at $580. Apart from this, the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at $630. To spice things up, T-Mobile is also offering an additional $300 off when you trade-in your old OnePlus device as well as few devices from other OEMs for the new 6T.

Honestly, I’m just like you. I went to college. My academic background revolves around computer science and information technology. To honest, I was never that great at studies though!
