Created by Scott Smith, The Peripheral is an upcoming American science fiction streaming television series. It is based on the 2014 book of the same name written by William Gibson.
Smith is also the executive producer of the series alongside Athena Wickham, Steve Hoban, Vincenzo Natali, Greg Plageman, Jonathan Nolan, and Lisa Joy. The series is scheduled to be released soon.

The Peripheral Plot and Cast
The series is set in a world where technology has made some big advancements. Burton is a Marine Corps vet who is hired for a security job that is supposed to take place in cyberspace. His sister, Flynne, temporarily takes over the job and witnesses something that could be a murder.
She ends up getting a call from the future that could lead to everything in her life-changing.
Talking the cast includes Eli Goree as Conner, Charlotte Riley as Aelita, JJ Feild as Lev, Adelind Horan as Billy Ann Baker, T’Nia Miller as Cherise, and Alex Hernandez as Tommy Constantine.
We will also get to see Louis Herthum as Corbell Pickett, Chris Coy as Jasper, Melinda Page Hamilton as Ella, Katie Leung as Ash, and Austin Rising as Leon.
The Peripheral Release Date
Principal photography for the series began on May 3, 2021, in London, United Kingdom. Filming moved to Marshall, North Carolina on September 24. Production on the series wrapped on November 5, 2021.
