What is this about?
Marcus Lemonis is a wealthy businessman who uses his experience and a $2 million fund to save failing firms. When Marcus Lemonis isn’t operating his multibillion-dollar firm, Camping World, he’s on the lookout for cash-strapped enterprises that are ripe for a purchase. He has successfully turned around over 100 enterprises in the last ten years.
Now he’s bringing those skills to CNBC, where he’ll be doing something no one has ever done on television before: he’ll be betting millions of dollars of his own money. In each episode, Lemonis offers an irresistible offer: his money in exchange for a piece of the company and a part of the earnings.
And once inside these businesses, he’ll do practically everything to preserve the company and make a profit, including removing the president, promoting the secretary, and doing the work himself.
Not the show’s many diverse businesspersons and owners, nor their often more colorful set of employers, but the man in the center himself: Marcus Lemonis.
