Netflix just dropped the trailer for their upcoming miniseries and it looks spectacular. Developed by Academy Award nominee Scott Frank along with Allan Scott, The Queen’s Gambit is an upcoming American drama web TV miniseries that is networked by Netflix. The miniseries is based on the 1983 novel The Queen’s Gambit by Walter Tevis. The story focuses on an orphaned young American woman named Beth Harmon who has been through a lot during her upbringing, yet she discovers her talent at chess but her success is hindered by her addiction to drugs and other such things.
When can we watch it?
The miniseries is all set to premiere on Friday, October 23rd, 2020, exclusively on Netflix. The series will comprise of five episodes. The executive producers of the series are Frank, William Horberg, and Allan Scott. The show was announced by the network back in March 2019 and the production started in August 2019 itself.

Her success is interrupted by her childhood-inflicted anxieties, her addiction to drugs and alcohol.
