The rig is a brand new show which is coming soon to premiere on Amazon Prime. The creators of the series are scheduled to premiere the show in 2022. The show will consist of six episodes.

The Rig Plot and Cast
We already know a little about the plot of the bleak thriller. ‘The Rig’ centers on The Kilnoch Bravo oil rig, stationed in the North Sea, and it’s due to return to land.
However, a fog descends and all communication with the rest of the world is cut off. Stuck on the rig, the crew has to come to terms with their isolation and have to endure this extended period of exclusion from the outside world. It’s not just each others’ company that erodes the patience of those on the rig, they must come to terms with forces beyond their control and beyond their wildest imagination.
Coming to the cast, the cast for the upcoming show include Emily Hampshire, Iain Glen, Martin Compston, Mark Bonnar, Rochenda Sandall, Owen Teale, Richard Pepple, Calvin Demba, Emun Elliott, Abraham Popoola, Stuart McQuarrie and Molly Vevers.
The Rig Release Date
The makers have already confirmed that The Rig is coming in the Autumn of 2022 but an exact release date has not yet been announced. Further details are expected to be disclosed soon.
The upcoming show will consist of six episodes. The runtime of each episode and other information are still unrevealed.
