The Rock Is Back With Season 2 Of The Titan Games!

The Titan Games is an American sports competition series that premiered on NBC in 2019. This show is hosted by Dwyane Johnson or The Rock. Titan Games features people from across America who participate in the title of the Titan.

When Will Be Able To See Season 2 Of The Titan Games?

NBC renewed the series for a second season on September 16, 2019. The second season will premiere on May 25th, 2020. The wait for the second season is not very long and fans are super excited about it!

Format Of The Show

Titan Games shows people competing in endurance-based mental and physical challenges for the title. The competition obstacles were inspired by Dwayne Johnson’s personal workouts! In each episode, four male and four female contestants compete to be named Titans. There are four preliminary heats where two men or two women compete against each other. The two male and two female winners then compete on an obstacle course called Mount Olympus. Finally, there would be one male and one female Titan, each winning $100,000.

Preliminary Events And Mount Olympus: What Are They?

There are around 11 preliminary events in The Titan Games: Vortex, Uprising, Tower Drop, Herculean Pull, Atlas Smash, Lunar Impact, Cyclone, Hammering Ram, Heavy Metal, Off The Rails and Power Vault.

In Mount Olympus, the contestants have to overcome seven obstacles. They must first sprint across the arena and knock over a 1000 pound wall, push three grates uphill and then climb over the “Rolling Ascent”, a series of rotating cylinders. Then they must scale the “Cliffs”, creating their own hand and footholds. They lift up a 600-pound torch using a crank, slide down slides separated by 5-foot,6-foot, and 7-foot walls to return to the same arena. Then they drag a sledgehammer attached to a ball and chain. Finally, they crack open the concrete slab covering the Titan relic(the show’s logo) using the sledgehammer. The first person to place the relic on their pedestal and turn it like a key, so the T-sign logo faces the camera is declared the winner!

Dwayne Johnson said that season 2 will have a new arena, new competitors, and new obstacles! Signing off with the tagline “Titans aren’t born, They’re Made.”
