The fifth season of The Rookie is around the corner and the fans are all hyped up. The series is an American police procedural crime drama that is based on the real-life tale of William Norcross, an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department who joined the force in his mid-40s. Created by Alexi Hawley, The Rookie is executive produced by Nathan Fillion, Mark Gordon, Nicholas Pepper, Michelle Chapman, Jon Steinberg, Liz Friedlander, William Norcross, and Hawley. The Rookie Season 5: Plot and Cast

The Rookie Season 5 will pick from where it left in the fourth season. A fun storyline is awaiting Nyla’s pregnancy. Wesley will be seen to take a stab at policing from the legal ends of matters. The new couple at the precinct, Lucy and Bradford, or Chenford as they are called, will be seen portraying themselves as lovers while being undercover. Nolan will be receiving a reward for his actions in the standoff, as was shown in the finale of season 4. Having said that and considering that Nolan possesses the ability to carry out any and every assignment of his choice, an old nemesis is returning to put all his close ones at risk.

The primary cast of The Rookie has been retained for its fifth season. The cast includes Nathan Fillion as John Nolan, Alyssa Diaz as Angela Lopez, Richard T. Jones as Wade Grey, Mekia Cox as Nyla Harper, Melissa O’Neil as Lucy Chen, Eric Winter as Tim Bradford, Jenna Dewan as Bailey Nune, Shawn Ashmore as Wesley Evers, and Tru Valentino as Aaron Thorsen. The fifth season will follow the inclusion of a new character Celina Juarez who will be played by Lisseth Chavez.
