The Society Season 2 all latest Details- Cast, Plot and Release Date

Netflix’s original teen mystery drama, The Society is all set to make a comeback with its second season. The show is created by Christopher Kreysey and follows the story of a group of teenager who returned their home after a cancelled trip only to find that everyone else has disappeared. In that situation, the teenagers survive the strange world by forming the society with their own new rules and laws.

The cast of the new season of The Society will be the reprising characters of the first season except for those characters who are dead. The cast includes Kathryn Newton as Allie, Jacques Colimon as Will, Toby Wallace as Campbell, Alex Fitzalan as Harry, Olivia DeJonge as Elle, Natasha Liu as Helena, Alex MacNicoll as Luke, Jack Mulhern as Grizz, Sean Berdy as Sam, Gideon Adlon as Becca and others. There might be some additional characters which we don’t know yet.

Plot

The plot of season two will pick from the final episode of season one which saw Grizz finding a land for cultivation to grow crops and turkeys to end the starvation of people in New Ham which is a great news. The political scenario of New Ham will go under certain conditions which might be problematic for the people in the society. If Campbell, Harry and Lexie take charge then the town will have to face new difficulties. We will also get to see Becca’s journey as a mother, Grizz and Sam’s relationship, and Elle attempt to run from Campbell. The next season will bring in more twists and turn, hold on!

Release Date

The release date of the new season is not known but it’s highly anticipated that it will be out in the fall of 2020. But due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19 many shows are postponing the release date, and it is possible that creators of The Society might push the dates of the new season. In that case, fans have to wait a little longer for the new season.
