The Thing About Pam is an upcoming American crime drama television series that is scheduled to premiere on NBC on March 8, 2022. This mini-series comprises two episodes only. The first episode will air on March 8 and the last one on March 15. Renée Zellweger, Carmella Casinelli, Jessika Borsiczky, Liz Cole, Noah Oppenheim, Jason Blum, Chris McCumber, and Jeremy Gold are the executive producers of drama. Blumhouse Television, NBC News Studios, and Big Picture Co. will produce.
The Thing About Pam: What is it About?
The riveting crime drama series, The Thing About Pam, details the murder case of Betsy Faria. The murder took place way back in 2011. NBC describes the show as follows – “Two-time Academy Award winner Renée Zellweger stars in a riveting true-crime drama inspired by one of the most popular, compelling sagas ever told on “Dateline NBC.” What appeared to be a straightforward murder case would eventually set off a chain of events exposing both a wrongful conviction and a diabolical scheme involving a woman named Pam Hupp. From Blumhouse Television, NBC News Studios, and showrunner/executive producer Jessika Borsiczky, this limited series will bring a new perspective to a story that has already captivated millions.”

It stars Renée Zellweger, Josh Duhamel, Judy Greer, Katy Mixon, Gideon Adlon, Sean Bridgers, Glenn Fleshler, Suanne Spoke, and Mac Brandt. Jenny Klein serves as showrunner for the series.

The filming of the series began in New Orleans in October last year. Later, The executive producer of Dateline NBC, Liz Cole, shared her intention to create documentary-style content in January 2020. It was later reported that NBC News Studios, with Blumhouse Television, is working on a television series based on a true crime story.
