Written by Gerard Way, The Umbrella Academy is an American superhero streaming television series. Based on the comic book series of the same name, the show is created by Steve Blackman and developed by Jeremy Slater.
It is produced by Borderline Entertainment, Dark Horse Entertainment, and Universal Cable Production.
The first season was released on Netflix on February 15, 2019, followed by the second season on July 31, 2020. Both seasons received positive responses from critics. In November 2020, the series was renewed for a third season, set to be released in 2022.

The Umbrella Academy Season 3 will explore and explain the mystery of the Sparrow Academy, Hotel Oblivion, and how the Umbrella Academy will deal with their new reality.
The main cast includes Elliot Page as Vanya Hargreeves, Tom Hopper as Luther Hargreeves, Emmy Raver-Lampman as Allison Hargreeves, David Castañeda as Diego Hargreeves, Robert Sheehan as Klaus Hargreeves, Aidan Gallagher as Number Five, Colm Feore as Sir Reginald Hargreeves, Justin H. Min as Ben Hargreeves and Ritu Arya as Lila Pitts.
However, the cast members confirmed for Season 3 includes Justin Cornwell as Marcus Hargreeves, Britne Oldford as Fei Hargreeves, Genesis Rodriguez as Sloane Hargreeves, Cazzie David as Jayme Hargreeves and Jake Epstein as Alphonso Hargreeves.
The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Release Date
The Umbrella Academy Season 3 was confirmed on November 10, 2020. It began production in February 2021 and ended in August that same year. The show will be released in 2022. However, any official date has not been revealed yet.
The upcoming season consists of ten episodes and it will be available for streaming on Netflix. Those who want to watch the show can purchase a Netflix subscription which is available at a rate of Rs. 149 to Rs. 649.
