The Walking Dead is an American post-apocalyptic horror television series. This series is based on the comic book series of the same name. Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard wrote the comic books. The series is exclusively broadcast on AMC in the United States. Internationally the show is broadcast through the Fox Networks Group. The series premiered on October 31, 2010.

WHAT IS THE WALKING DEAD ABOUT?

According to IMDb, “The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by former police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home. As the world overrun by the dead takes its toll on the survivors, their interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival than the walkers that roam the country. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive. Based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard.”

THE WALKING DEAD CAST:

From the 1st season until the 9th we can see Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes who is the series’s protagonist and a former sheriff’s deputy. Rick is the leader of a group of survivors and becomes the leader of Alexandria. Another cast member is Norman Reedus as Daryl Dixon, the group’s primary hunter. We also see Steven Yeun, as Glenn Rhee who was a former pizza delivery boy who saved Rick’s life. Another member of the cast has to be Chandler Riggs, as Carl Grimes who is Rick and Lori’s young son. Melissa McBride as Carol Peletier who was originally a meek housewife. Later Carol overcomes domestic abuse to become a skilled, resourceful fighter capable of making difficult decisions.

THE WALKING DEAD SEASON 11 RELEASE DATE?

The network still has no declared a date for the debut of the upcoming season. This season is expected to air sometime in late 2021 where the later half of the show will air in early 2022.
