The White House Plumbers: Release Date, Plot and more!

Written by the creators Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck The White House Plumbers is an upcoming American political drama television miniseries. Directed by David Mandel, based in part on the book The White House Plumbers by Egil Krogh and Matthew Krogh.

On December 4, 2019, it was announced that HBO had ordered the five-episode limited series. It is created by Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck, who are also the executive producers alongside David Mandel, Frank Rich, Ruben Fleischer, and David Bernad. Gregory and Huyck were attached to write the miniseries with David Mandel directing all episodes.

The White House Plumbers Release Date

The release date of the series, The White House Plumbers has not been announced yet. We can expect it in late 2022 or mid-2023.

Principal photography for the series began on May 3, 2021, and ended on October 21, 2021. Filming began on several places like New York and further details about the show is expected to be announced soon.

The White House Plumbers Plot and Cast

The White House Plumbers is based partly on public records and the book Integrity by Egil ‘Bud’ Krogh and Matthew Krogh, the show follows the two political saboteurs and Watergate masterminds E. Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy.

It delves into their backstories and shows how they came to be behind the 1972 burglary of the Democratic National Committee HQ that was eventually traced back to President Nixon’s administration. It shows how the pair accidentally brought down the very presidency they had been trying to protect.

Now talking about the cast, it includes Woody Harrelson as E. Howard Hunt, Justin Theroux as G. Gordon Liddy, Domhnall Gleeson as John Dean, Liam James as Saint John Hunt, and Nelson Ascencio as Virgilio “Villo” Gonzalez.

We will also get to see Gary Cole as Mark Felt, Yul Vazquez as Bernard “Macho” Barker, David Krumholtz as William O. Bittman, Zoe Levin as Lisa Hunt, and John Carroll Lynch as John N. Mitchell.
