The Willoughbys: Release date, Cast and other Details

Netflix is the one that is really helping people fighting boredom in this quarantine period and it seems it has another ace up its sleeve.

The Willoughbys is an upcoming animated comedy film directed by Kris Pearn and co-directed by Rob Lodermeier and written by Pearn along with Mark Stanleigh. The music in the film was composed and conducted by  Mark Mothersbaugh. The Willoughby film is produced by Bron Animation and will be digitally distributed and streamed by Netflix all over the globe. The characters are designed by character designer Craig Kellman who worked previously in many famous animated movies

Plot of Willoughbys

The story revolves around the Willoughby’s children hatching a plan to send their selfish parents on a dangerous vacation and their subsequent adventures. The children subsequently learn that their plan was not such a good one and their further plans.

The story is based on the children’s book of the same name by Lois Lowry and hopes to entertain children as well as their parents.

Cast

It has a star-studded cast that includes  Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Alessia Cara, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski, and Ricky Gervais.
