As promised, Jensen is not letting the audience get over the demons, ghosts, and monsters, and is returning with more to his 15-season-long story of hunting the evils. The Winchesters is a dark fantasy drama that is a spin-off prequel to Eric Kripke’s infamous TV series, Supernatural (2005). The upcoming show is developed by Robbie Thompson, who also serves as the executive producer of the show along with Danneel Ackles, Jensen Ackles, Glen Winter, and David H. Goodman. The Winchesters: Plot and Cast
The plot of The Winchesters is set in the 1970s and revolves around John and Mary Winchester, parents to Sam and Dean. The story begins with Dean wanting to know the events that mark the love story of his parents, of how John and Mary came to know each other, how they fell in love, and how they put everything of theirs on edge to protect their love and save the world. John Winchester, a veteran of the Vietnam War, is on his way back home when all of a sudden he comes under a demon attack. Fate has it all sorted as in his grave situation, Mary is the one who rescues John, marking their first meeting. After knowing each other, they discover that like Mary’s father, John’s father is also missing. They then set out with one another to resolve the mysterious disappearance of their respective fathers and hunt down the ones behind it. The narration of the story will be done of Dean.
