The Witcher 3 has a new graphic mod

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a 2015 adventure game created and released by the Polish developer CD Projekt. The game is based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher genre of fantasy books. It’s the successor to the 2011 game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings played in an amazing environment with a third-party viewpoint.

Players play the character Geralt of Rivia, a monster slayer (known as Witcher) who is searching for his lost adoptive daughter on the run away from the Wild Chase, a supernatural entity eager to catch her and use her powers.

The main plot has a variety of endings, decided by the player’s decisions at various points in the game.

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project

This mod aims to improve visuals by revamping models and graphics to enhance the quality of the initial artistic style.

During the past years, a modder has worked hard to change the textures. Named The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project, that’s one of the best mods one should get for Witcher 3. It’s forthcoming 12.0 update makes it much better by enhancing the consistency of NPC clothing and face textures.

In the given video, modder HalkHogan has modified a lot of visuals, such as leather pants on a piece of body armor, to 4K resolution, going to result in even more realistic and sharper visuals.

When one just play The Witcher 3 at 1080p, a lot of information won’t be visible until he/she get right close with the NPCs. But with higher resolutions (like 4K), one will certainly note the difference.

At the end of the video above, there is a brief hint. But Halk Hogan PL says another update is on the way, based solely on changes to Geralt’s textures. Nonetheless, it isn’t clear when upgrading 12.0 will be published.
