The Witcher Plot and Cast
The official synopsis for the show reads: “As monarchs, mages and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it,” it teased.
Following season two’s chaotic finale, the next run of episodes will focus primarily on Ciri’s destiny as a world-destroyer, or hopefully a savior if we ever want to see season four come to light. There are plenty of forces gathering to manipulate the princess’s power for themselves, including her father, but at least Ciri now has Geralt and Yennefer by her side. As of now, we don’t have any certain storyline for the fourth seasons since the third season is yet to be aired.
The expected cast members include Freya Allan, Anya Chalotra, Joey Batey, Royce Pierson, Anna Shaffer, Kim Bodnia, and more. As season three began filming, a list of new additions was confirmed – including some familiar faces from other big franchises.
The Witcher Season 4 Release Date
Filming for the third season began on April 4, 2022. For now, TV productions seem to be working almost as quickly as they did before the pandemic, so taking into account any more potential delays, we would expect season three to arrive at the end of 2022, at a push. or more likely, 2023.
It is too early to speculate any release date or month for the fourth season since the third season is yet to be released. Further details are expected to be revealed soon.
