The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 gets 103 in DxOMark Score; 108 for Photos

DxOMark was pretty quick this time, it gave in detailed details regarding the Xiaomi Mi 3’s camera. Xiaomi has an in the total combined score of 103 and when it comes to photos Xiaomi has managed to score 108 in the photo’s department, and also 93 in the video department which is decent enough.

Now if you are wondering how good is this from the other devices, the to give you an rough idea, the combined score of 103 by Xiaomi matches the all latest Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but then it is still below the all-new iPhone XS Max manages to score 105 and the Huawei P20 Pro scores 109. Well, the Photo score of 108 for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is good enough as it matches the scores of the Galaxy Note 9 which is 107. According to DxO, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 has got some really reliable and fast autofocus, both in terms of photos and videos as well.

The dual cameras come with really good dynamic range, vivid colors and also accurate white balance. But then no camera is so perfect and the Mi Mix 3 isn’t an exception. When the camera has been tested properly, the team has also found that there was relatively higher noise both in the images and videos as well. Not just this, but some minor color banding was also found in some of the indoor scenes.

Apart from this, talking about the device itself the company has done a great job by avoiding the notch with the help of a unique design. This device sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED display which comes with 93.4% screen to body ratio. The Mi Mix 3 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 845 processor and is coupled with a whopping 10GB of RAM. In the Q1 of 2019, we can also expect the 5G variant of this device, and then it might possibly be powered by Snapdragon 855.
