Top Chef is a reality competition television series that first premiered on March 8, 2006. It features chefs competing against each other in culinary challenges and they are judged by some professional chefs and other personalities from food and wine industry.

Top Chef: Houston Format and Cast
The 19th season of Top Chef is titled Top Chef: Houston. The format of the show remains the same just like the previous seasons where contestants will take part in various challenges and they will be judged by popular faces from the food and wine industry.
The upcoming season is being hosted by Padma Lakshmi, and Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons would appear in the judges panel. For every episode, Padma, Tom and Gail were joined by a former Top Chef competitor along with a local or nationally acclaimed chef as guest judge.
The new season has been shot mainly in Houston, Texas, even though the place was not featured in the previous Texas-themed season. It has also been filmed in Galveston Island.
Top Chef: Houston Release Date
Top Chef: Houston is scheduled to premiere on March 3, 2022 on Bravo. It will consist of 14 episodes alongside 14 chefs as contestants.
The contestants are from places like Chicago, San Francisco, New York City, Michigan and others. Those who wish to watch the show can tune in to the cable television network Bravo, which is accessible on every American household.
