Truth Be Told Season 3: Release Date, Trailer and more!
Created by Nichelle Tramble Spellman, Truth Be Told is an American drama series based on the novel Are You Sleeping by Kathleen Barber. Spellman is also the executive producer alongside Octavia Spencer, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.
The first season of the series premiered on December 6, 2019 followed by the second season on August 20, 2021. The series received mixed reviews from critics and audiences, and currently holds an approval rating of 31% on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite the mixed response, the makers have renewed the series for a third season.

Truth Be Told Plot and Cast
Since Truth Be Told is an anthological series, the third season will return with a completely new storyline. In the second season, we saw Poppy being forced to revisit a case she was initially involved with. Her past catches up with her and she meets her long time friend Micah Keith.
When Keith’s husband is murdered, Micah turns to Poppy for help after all the charges of her husband’s murder are dropped by the police. This strains the friendship between two long-lost friends, Poppy’s personal life including her marriage.
Coming to the cast, we can expect to see Octavia Spencer in the lead role as Poppy Parnell. The other cast members who might return includes Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood, Ron Cephas Jones and others.
Truth Be Told Season 3 Release Date
The second season of Truth Be Told premiered in August 2021. Considering that, the third season should premiere sometime in 2022 and a few online sources are also stating the same.
The number of episodes for the new season is also not confirmed as it was different in the first two seasons. Further details related to the upcoming season should be revealed in the next few months.
