Amazon has not yet declared the official release date of the show. However, the series will premiere in 2020 itself, as announced by Amazon. The series will have eight episodes.
On the 24th of July 2020, Amazon released an official teaser, giving us a glimpse of the horror fun-ride we are about to experience.
What is it about?
The genre of the series is supernatural horror-comedy. The tagline of the teaser goes“the truth is way, way out there”- this is going to be one spooky series filled with dark and supernatural elements. The story centers around a team of paranormal investigators who take up the responsibility of recounting ghost sightings across the UK and sharing it on their online channel. However, things take a turn and get spookier when they start exploring places like “haunted churches, underground bunkers, and abandoned hospitals” with the help of homemade detecting gizmos. They start experiencing terrifying and deadly supernatural elements more frequently as “they begin to uncover a conspiracy that could bring about Armageddon for the entire human race. Set in a mysterious world filled with dread and just-out-of-sight monsters, Truth Seekers mixes humor with the fear.”(Official synopsis)
