Trying is a British comedy television series which is premiered on May 1, 2020, on Apple TV+, created by Andy Wolton. Wolton is also the executive producer alongside Tim O’Hanlon and Josh Cole.
The second season of the series premiered on May 21, 2021, and concluded on July 2, 2021, with eight episodes. Apple renewed the show for a third season on that day when the release date for Season 2 was announced.

Trying Plot and Cast
According to an official press release from Apple TV+, the plot of the Trying Season 3 continues with Nikki and Jason waking up as new parents to two children they are still getting to know after an explosive conclusion to Season 2.
All they have to do is keep hold of them, which proves to be more complicated than anticipated. Nikki and Jason’s relationships with each other and their loved ones are tested as they desperately strive to navigate the ups and downs of parenting while clinging to their children and their sanity.
Season 3 may feature some new cast members and the departure of other characters, which will be revealed in the coming weeks. We will also get to see Esther Smith as Nikki Newman, Rafe Spall as Jason Ross, Imelda Staunton as Penny, Ophelia Lovibond as Erica, Oliver Chris as Freddy, and others.
Trying Season 3 Release Date
The makers of the show announced that the new season will be released on July 22, 2022, on Apple TV+. The show will have eight episodes just like its first and second seasons. Each episode will have a runtime of about 26 – 30 minutes.
