Trying Season 3: Release Date, Plot and more!

Created by the writer Andy Wolton, Trying is a British comedy television series which is premiered on May 1, 2020, on Apple TV+. The creator Wolton is also an executive producer alongside Tim O’Hanlon and Josh Cole.

The second season of the series premiered on May 21, 2021 and concluded on July 2, 2021 with eight episodes. On May 14, 2021, with the announcement of the release date for Season 2, Apple also renewed the show for a third season.

Trying Plot and Cast

According to an official press release from Apple TV+, the plot of the Trying Season 3 continues with Nikki and Jason waking up as new parents to two children they are still getting to know after an explosive conclusion to Season 2.

All they have to do is keep hold of them, which proves to be more complicated than anticipated. Nikki and Jason’s relationships with each other and their loved ones are tested as they desperately strive to navigate the ups and downs of parenting while clinging to their children and their sanity.

Season 3 may feature some new cast members and the departure of other characters, which will be revealed in the coming weeks. We will also get to see Esther Smith as Nikki Newman, Rafe Spall as Jason Ross, Imelda Staunton as Penny, Ophelia Lovibond as Erica, Oliver Chris as Freddy, and others.

Trying Season 3 Release Date

The release date for Trying Season 3 has been officially confirmed for July 22, 2022. The series is produced by BBC Studios Comedy Productions and will be available on Apple TV+.

Although the precise number of episodes for the series has not been released, we may anticipate at least eight episodes with a runtime of 26-30 minutes, as in prior seasons.
