Uncoupled: Release Date, Plot, Cast and more!

Neil Patrick Harris, infamously known for his character of Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother, is all set to spread his charm once again with his upcoming series Uncoupled. Created by Darren Starr and Jeffery Richman, Uncoupled is a rom-com that explores the ‘romance’ in any romantic tale as viewed by gay men.

The series produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, Jax Media, Darren Star Productions, and Jeffrey Richman Productions has quite a bit in store for its audiences. Keep reading to know more.

Uncoupled: Plot and Cast

The plot revolves around Michael, a real estate agent in New York City, who, after 17 long years, finds himself single as his long-term Boyfriend, Collin, dumps him and decides to move out. These shocking and hurtful turn of events in his love life leads him to experience dejection over losing the one whom he considered his soulmate. As the days pass by, the newly-turned single gay man finds himself venturing into the dating world of New York City in his mid-forties.

Apart from Neil Patrick Harris who’d be seen in the lead role of Michael, the primary cast of Uncoupled includes Tuc Watkins as Colin, Emerson Brooks as Billy, Tisha Campbell as Suzanne, Marcia Gay Harden as Claire, and Brooks Ashmanskas as Stanley. The show would also star Jonah Platt as Horst, Colin Hanlon as Jonathan Stein, Jhulenty Delossantos as Luis, April Ortiz as Teresa, Jay Santiago as Freddy, Ajay Naidu as Raffi, Dan Amboyer as Luke, David A. Gregory as Corey, Jonathan Strait as George Hill, Denny Dillon as Gina, Alexis Bronkovic as Layla, Rob Kellogg as Harrison, Jordyn Owens as Trey, Kyle Dunn as Friedrich, Phyllis Johnson as Nia, and Joti Patel as Stephanie.

Uncoupled: Release Date

Uncoupled can be streamed on Netflix post its release on July 29, 2022. All eight episodes will be launched together and can be accessed by Netflix users.
