There is some enigmatic aura always attached to Unsolved Mysteries. Just like reading any detective novel, a person gets equally involved and engaged in finding the puzzles. It is a normal human nature to dig up stories related to the mysteries and progress with a tiny ray of hope within to resolve the unresolved. Fun fact, our cute little Netflix just knows us so well and took the chance and introduced us to the peculiar show Unsolved Mysteries which caught the eyes of the audience. And it successfully got through with the first season and has already thought about the second one.
The American mystery documentary television show is created by John Cosgrove and Terry Dunn Meurer and documents “real cases of perplexing disappearances, shocking murders, and paranormal encounters” which fuels this gripping revival of the iconic documentary series. They didn’t start in recent times but dates back to 1988, a full-fledged series on NBC. After nine seasons on NBC, the series moved to CBS for its 10th season on November 13, 1997. Now, Netflix is trying to bring back the classic one more time. The episodes accessible till now are Mystery on the Rooftop, 13 Minutes, House of Terror, No Ride Home, Berkshires UFO, Missing Witness. Season 1 released a few days back and has already managed a place amongst the top 10 list.
Given the number of episodes made previously, it is an obvious fact that Netflix will return back with a season. But there hasn’t been any confirmed news about the renewal of the second chapter and more mysteries are yet to unravel. But the oldie version is waiting to be available on the OTT platform. As of 2017, the show maintains a YouTube page where viewers can submit their own mysteries.
