Unsolved mysteries, The American mystery television show, documenting paranormal cases is back after a long time for its reboot – fifteenth season.
Created by John Cosgrove and Terry Dunn Meure it began on NBC on January 20, 1987, and finally became a fully-fledged series on October 5, 1988, and that was hosted by Stack. After a fluctuating timeline, the unsolved mysteries were finally in talks after Netflix picked up the reboot of the series in the month of January 2019.
Unsolved mysteries currently streams on Amazon Prime, Tubi TV, and on its own dedicated channel on Pluto TV in the USA and UK. it also streams on Youtube as well as Netflix.
The story revolves around paranormal, and thrilling stories involving criminal cases, or cases with unexplainable mysteries and accounts. viewers were also given updates if the suspects were brought to justice or if the loved ones reunited and if the cases were solved. The show has been quite beneficial to bring limelight to the existing cases and thence allowing them to be solved by the majority of public support.
Release Date for the Unsolved mysteries, Reboot :
The Deadline Hollywood announced a 12 part reboot for the unsolved mysteries on January 18, 2019, it is being refreshed by another series called, The “stranger things”.
The series is being “refreshed” by Stranger Things – executive producer Shawn Levy as well as his company called, the 21 Laps Entertainment and the Cosgrove-Meurer Productions plus Netflix.
Cosgrave said that the reboot would be of the documentary style, and without any host or narrator since nobody can replace Robert stack. A picture of Robert stack, the longtime host will be seen in the title sequence of each episode to pay respect for his service to the series, for a long time.
The first six episodes of the new season have been released on the 1st of July 2020.
and will reach the audience worldwide using the globally available streaming website, Netflix.
Unsolved mysteries CAST :
The cast for the unsolved mysteries have been regularly updated, most of the cast from the previous seasons have been retained in order to maintain continuity. Raymond Burr, Karl Malden, Robert Stack, Virginia Madsen, and Dennis Farina are expected to be a part of the upcoming seasons as well
