Upload Season 3: Release Date, Trailer and more!

Created by Greg Daniels, Upload is an American science fiction comedy-drama television series. The series premiered on May 1, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video and was renewed for a second season.

The second season premiered on March 11, 2022, with seven episodes. In May 2022, the series was renewed for a third season.

So, when is the third season releasing? What is the plot? Who will be in the cast? Keep reading to know more.

Upload Plot and Cast

Season 2 ended with a bunch of twists. With Ethan, Ingrid is anxious to have a baby and has resorted to a few different tactics like scanning Nathan’s body in case of Downloads become successful. For now, though she’s found out about “hug-suits” and is wearing one instead of her natural body.

Nathan installs himself into a clone after realizing he owes her nothing, and for the first time, they touch. However, the audience can’t deny that Nathan seems to be dying, as he has just suffered a nosebleed. But we never find out what happened to Nathan as the series abruptly ends with episode one of season two. The creators of the show have mentioned that all of these lingering questions will be resolved in the next season.

At this point in time, it’s only a guess who will be cast for Season 3. Robbie Amell plays Nathan, a computer programmer who dies in a car accident and is transported to Lakeview, a digital afterlife. Perhaps we’ll see him in flashbacks or learn more about his death.

The other cast includes Andy Allo as Noreen Antony, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid Kannerman, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha, Kevin Bigley as Luke, and Josh Banday as Ivan.

Upload Season 3 Release Date

Based on its recent renewal and the fact that the entire pre- and post-production process will undoubtedly take at least that much time, we expect it to hit the screens sometime in the first or second quarter of 2023. Upload Season 3 is scheduled to be released on 18 November 2022.

The third season of Upload has been ordered but there is currently no release date or expected timeframe. Upload is a new sci-fi comedy series that takes the idea of the afterlife and imagines it in a virtual world. Loads of options are available, including in-app purchases, backups & downloads. Amazon Prime offers this series as part of its vast selection on Prime Video.
