Valve will sponsor Game Devs of Color Expo?

The Game Devs of Color Expo will be going virtual on September 19, 2020. Due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, the community will gather online. It will be a space that will enlighten and unite gamers. It is open to all. The valve is an American video game developer, publisher, and distributor as well. The company was founded in 1996 and it has its headquarters in Washington.

Sponsors

Valve has announced to sponsor the Game Devs of Color Expo, 2020. Playdate and Xbox are the collaborating sponsors of the event. The playdate is a brand new game system. It is perfect for indie games of all kinds. Niantic is the sustaining sponsor. It is the world’s largest augmented reality company with the main focus on gaming. Also, ticket sales will provide funding for the event. The gaming community can also donate any amount to support Game Devs of Color Expo.

Why Sponsorship?

The sponsorship and donation will help the event managers to pay for various expenditures. They will provide tickets for attendees in need, equipment for the show, compensation for volunteers. From this money, the charges of photography, videography, and live streaming will be paid along with the compensation for speakers and workshop teachers.

Schedule

The Game Devs of Color Expo will host a variety of games from all around the world. The doors will open at 11:00 AM according to the EDT.  The event is ready to go live on 19, September 2020. At 11:10 the Game Devs of Color Expo team will welcome the participants with the welcome message. Then at 12:00 PM, a microtalk session will start. In this session, three-game developers will share their thoughts on various topics. Some of the topics are to reuse everything, development in AAA games, and action Girlz racing. Nelson JR, Aubrey Scott, and Marley Hill will be the speakers in this session. 12:40 Pm will be the lunchtime.

Then at 1:45 Hip Hop and Video game sessions will begin with five speakers. At 2:35 Pm again a microtalk will start and then at 4:15 PM a session will begin on the topic of forging a path in the games. At 5:35 Game Devs of Color Expo will sum up with the closing message. So get your tickets booked and mark the date.
