The first season of the series was released on December 6, 2019. The second season followed on November 27, 2020, and the third season on July 9, 2021. The makers are now all set to launch the fourth season of Virgin River on Netflix. Read on to find out what the romantic-drama series has in store for its audiences.
Virgin River Season 4: Plot and Cast
Towards the end of season 3, not one, but three loose ends trouble audiences, keeping them on edge. On the one hand, it was shown that Hope, who’s in a coma, needs life-saving surgery as she met with a deadly car accident. On the other, the grandson of Doc arrived out of thin air in search of him and holds a huge secret. And if these weren’t enough, Mel found out that she was pregnant, although clarity regarding whether Jack is the father or not was then revealed.
According to the official synopsis of Netflix, Mel is to be seen to start off the latest season with her sense of optimism even after not knowing whether the father of her baby is Mark or Jack. Although Jack is rather supportive and excited about the baby, a portion of his mind is troubled with the question of paternity. The situation gets all the more complicated with the arrival of a handsome new doctor, a bachelor willing to start his family. Hope is in the process of healing from a car accident. The psychological effects resulting from her brain injury will have rather acute consequences for her and Doc. Brie, resolute to prove the innocence of her loved one, somehow is drawn closer to Mike and is a step nearer to the violent criminal web of Calvin. As a new romantic connection is forged by Preacher, he is left with nothing but hope to reunite with Christopher and Paige.
The makers retained the previous cast of Virgin River along with introducing some new characters in season 4. The major members of Virgin River Season 4 include Alexandra Breckenridge as Mel Monroe, Martin Henderson as Jack Sheridan, Colin Lawrence as Preacher, Lauren Hammersley as Charmaine, Tim Matheson as Doc, Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dan, Grayson Gurnsey as Ricky, Sarah Dugdale as Lizzie, Annette O’Toole as Hope McCrea, Mark Ghanimé Cameron Hayek and Kai Bradbury as Denny Cutler.
