Virgin River Season 4: Release Date, Plot and more!

Developed by Sue Tenney, Virgin River is a romantic drama series made for Netflix. Tenney is also the executive producer alongside Robyn Carr, Christopher E. Perry, Roma Roth and Jocelyn Freid.

The first season of the series premiered on December 6, 2019 followed by the second season on November 27, 2020. The third season was released on July 9, 2021. It received positive reviews from critics and currently holds an approval rating of 76% on Rotten Tomatoes. The makers have already renewed the series for a fourth season.

Virgin River Plot and Cast

Virgin River Season 3 left a lot of questions unanswered in the end and the story will move forward on the basis of that. There were a lot of things including Mel’s pregnancy revelation to Charmaine’s marriage alongside Brady’s arrest and Preacher being drugged and left for dead in the woods.

The fourth season might focus on the relationship between Mel and Jack. The bar owner may deal with the knowledge that he might not be the father of her unborn child. It is not confirmed if Jack will take this news well and Alexandra Breckenridge has hinted that fans should prepare for a rocky road ahead.

Meanwhile, Brie will have to decide if she thinks Brady is guilty of shooting her brother. Charmine should give birth to her twins and we would get to see if Lizzie and Ricky will be able to rekindle their relationship since he has been enlisted in the Marines.

Coming to the cast, the lead cast members of the first three seasons are expected to reprise their roles. This includes Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Jenny Cooper, Lauren Hammersley, Annette O’Toole, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Grayson Gurnsey and Sarah Dugdale.

Virgin River Season 4 Release Date

The third season of Virgin River premiered in July 2021 and it was renewed for a fourth season one month later in September 2021. Season 4 is now scheduled to premiere on July 20, 2022.

The upcoming season might consist of ten episodes like the first three seasons, although an official confirmation is awaited. The series is produced by Reel World Management.
