Following the footsteps of brands like Xiaomi, Huawei, and OPPO, Vivo introduced its sub-brand iQOO last month. Now, the Chinese smartphone maker launched its iQOO smartphone, and it comes with pretty impressive specs. The Vivo IQOO is touted as a gaming smartphone and has an official “Monster Inside” tag.
As for the design, the back of the device has a premium glass back. The same hides a color LED that looks great when illuminated. It has two shoulder buttons like the Nubia Red Magic Mars and features the previously teased 4D shock feature making it gaming ready. Let’s now talk about Vivo IQOO Specifications and features.

The Vivo IQOO features a 6.41 inch AMOLED display with a dew-drop notch resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of 91.7 percent. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset paired with a whopping 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Chinese OEM has included a ‘super liquid cooling’ to reduce heat while running heavy graphics-intensive games for a long duration.
Even if the Vivo IQOO is a gaming smartphone, it will appeal to the smartphone camera enthusiasts as well. It sports a triple camera setup at the rear consisting of a 12MP primary sensor with proprietary dual pixel technology, a 2MP depth sensor and a 13MP wide-angle lens (Sony IMX263).
The handset comes with a Multi-Turbo service that includes AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo to boost the performance. The AI Turbo increases app start-up by 30 percent while the Centre Turbo improves the frame rate by 73 percent. The Multi-Turbo lets you automatically switch between Wi-Fi and 4G enabling a seamless multiplayer gaming experience.
The high-end model comes with a 4,000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast-charging. It means it can fully charge in 45 minutes and 50% in just 15 minutes. The lower variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration lacks the 44W fast-charging and instead have a 22.5W one. All the variants run on FunTouch OS based on Android 9 Pie.
Vivo IQOO Price & Availability
As for the pricing, the Vivo IQOO costs CNY 2,998 (Rs 30,000) for the 6/128GB variant, CNY 3,298 (Rs 33,000) for the 8/128GB variant and CNY 3,958 (Rs 36,000) for the 8/256GB variant. The top-of-the-line 12/64GB variant called iQOO Monster will come at a price tag of 4,298 Yuan. There will be Blue and Red color options and go in sale in China from March 6.
