Vivo V11i renamed and Launched as Vivo Y97

After successfully launching the Vivo X23, the company has now launched another new device into the Chinese market, the Vivo Y97 which has been renamed from the original Vivo V11i. This all-new device from Vivo is basically an all-glass design and Vivo claims that this back side of the device features a 3D micro-arc micro finish design which is helpful in providing a better grip.

So now talking about the device, the device features a 6.3 inch super AMOLED display which comes with a water drop notch. Talking more about the display, this is an HD+ display which comes with a resolution of 2280*1080 pixels by maintaining a 90.3 screen-to-body ratio. The entire device is powered by the Helio P60 chipset and is coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the storage could be further expanded to 256GB by adding up a micro sd card.

Talking about optics, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup which is a 16MP+2MP shooter, and the front side of the camera is a 16MP shooter to capture some really good selfies. The good thing is that both the rear and the front camera comes with AI features.

The device also includes additional features such as face unlock, along with the IR sensor which helps the users to unlock the device even in low light conditions. Out of the box, the device runs on the latest version of Android 8.1 Oreo on top of Vivo’s own FunTouch UI. There is no official update regarding the Android Pie update on to this device.

The entire device is backed by a 3,240 mAh battery and comes with an additional Game Mode 4.0 which gives you an awesome gaming experience. This mode has been well optimized that the device will be consuming less battery and at the same time will also be giving the best performance. In China, this device has been priced around 1,998 Yuan which is around Rs.21,000.

Honestly, I’m just like you. I went to college. My academic background revolves around computer science and information technology. To honest, I was never that great at studies though! Started off my internet journey at the age of 16 and made my first penny within a month through website designing.
