As we know The story goes around Europe, where transmission is observed from another galaxy, it gives proof of intelligent extraterrestrial life other than earth. So many astronomers tried to contact the other territorial beings. But later humanity gets vanished, and an alien ship attacked earth.
War of the Worlds starts when a signal from space is received by a French observatory, shocking people all over the planet. This message from space demonstrates that intelligent extraterrestrial life exists in space. Following this revelation, the world excitedly anticipates another encounter with extraterrestrial life. But it isn’t long until an extraterrestrial invasion arrives on the planet, to wipe off the whole population. People are perplexed as to why alien spacecraft are hell-bent on finishing life on the planet.
The individuals in the series begin to plot how to reclaim the planet, or at least what remains of it. As the story unfolds, a slew of absurd notions emerge. It even reaches a point when a character called Emily realizes that she may be linked to the invasion in some way. Another hypothesis is that certain people are behind all of this and are attempting to rule the world through the invasion.
Now the season is left on a cliffhanger that who are those attackers and why they are destroying humanity. Season 2 has left with so much cliffhanger. So the viewers of The War of the Worlds are incredibly excited for its upcoming season.

It was renewed in July 2021, the makers have scheduled to premiere the third season of War of the Worlds on 12 September, 2022.
The third season is expected to have eight episodes like the previous two seasons. However, the developers have not confirmed yet.
