What Irritates the Outlander Series Actress Claire Fraser about her Co-Star?

It is obvious that co-stars working with each other for so long will have problems with one another. The Outlander franchise presents such a case.

The Outlander season 5 ended with lots of stuff going on causing its fans to be dumbstruck whether it’s the kidnapping and rape of  Claire Fraser ( Caitriona Balfe) by Lionel Brown  (Ned Dennehy) or being her family plotting against themselves. But as it came out to much surprise for the fans, there is a lot of stuff going between the members behind the scene too.

Based on the books of  Diana  Gabaldon the series’ first season was premiered by the STARZ network in 2014. The story is a pretty decent blend of historical fiction, romance, and especially science fiction which tingles a sensation for all those sci-fi enthusiasts.

The story is about a married combat nurse from the great war who mysteriously time travels back to 1743 where her life is threatened. The protagonist is trapped in two different time frames centuries apart. She must do everything possible to stay alive. With its five seasons released it had become one of the most popular shows by STARZ. The success and popularity of the Outlander franchise is now forcing its producers to plan of making its spin-off.

The fifth season of the series is rather devastating for the fans as well as for the protagonist Claire( Caitriona Balfe) as she was kidnapped by Lionel Brown  (Ned Dennehy)  and raped, all because she educated Lionel’ s wise about reproductive health who was being abused by him. This hurt Lionel’ s manly ego which caused him having grudges with the protagonist. She was by her husband but later on even before everything could remain calm for a while, it was seen that her family members were working against themselves.

But these conflicts don’t remain hidden out for long. It is obvious that two people working with each other so long will have issues. The issues will come out in public someday.  Caitriona and Sam were asked about the stuff they don’t like about each other. Responding to this query  Caitriona said: “His timekeeping can sometimes irk me when I’m left standing waiting for him quite often.” However later she even confessed that due to her bossy attitude maybe irks him about her. She added, “I probably boss him around a bit so that probably irks him about me.”

But she also revealed that she and Sam sorted things between them early itself. She said: “But we made a very conscious decision in the very beginning when we started the show that we were the only two people who would understand each other’s experience.

She believes that they have worked and supported each other throughout the series. She said”And that we had each other’s backs throughout this because we didn’t know what it was going to be, but we knew that we had to stick together as a team. We have done that and it’s so important.”

Claire appreciates that she had such a partner in this series.”I can’t imagine having done a show of this magnitude for this long without having a partner with us, and it’s made it easier 100 percent, and I’m very grateful for that.”
