Vivo: Plot and Cast
The movie focuses on a capuchin monkey who loves adventures and longs to go out and explore his passion for music. He travels on a treacherous journey from Havana, Cuba to Miami, Florida in order to pursue his destiny and make his mark in music.
The movie’s origin actually dates back to 2010, when Lin-Manuel Miranda first proposed the idea to Disney after the success of In The Heights, Miranda’s first musical. Miranda is set to write 11 songs for the movie, so we are very excited to have more sing-alongs for the next family karaoke night after the film’s release!
