Created by Jemaine Clement, What We Do in the Shadows, is based on the 2014 film of the same title written by Clement and Taika Waititi. The show is a horror-comedy mockumentary. If you have not had a great laugh in a while, this is the show for you. The series is refreshing, funny, and excellently crafted. The show consists of two seasons. It received positive reviews and solid ratings for its authenticity. A few days after the release of season 2, US Network FX renewed the season for a third season and fans are delighted.
Trailer and Release Date for What We Do in the Shadows Season 3:
On 22nd May, FX confirmed the renewal status of Season 3 of What We Do in the Shadows. The first season surfaced on March 27, 2019, followed by the second season on April 15, 2020, on FX. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, there has been a delay in the productions and filming of a vast number of shows. The release date is not yet announced by FX. However, if the cycle is to be followed, season 3 might debut somewhere around April-May 2021. The network might soon give us a release date and a bomb teaser and trailer for the third season. Season 1 and 2 are split into 10 episodes each.
Here is the trailer for season 2:
What is it about?
The setting is Staten Island and the story revolves around Nandor, Laszlo, Nadja and Colin Robinson who are immortal vampires who live in a modern-day city. They share a hilariously absurd and awkward flat. What is funny is how these vampires interact with today’s human beings and other supernatural beings.
Season 2’s finale left the viewers with a number of unanswered question. Season 3 will most likely pick them up and answer them. However, it is too soon to anticipate the plot of season 3.
The Cast: Who is in it?
We regular cast members are Kavyan Novak (Nandor the Relentless), Natassia Demetriou (Nadja), Matt Berry (Laszlo Cravensworth), Harvey Guillén (Guillermo), and Mark Proksch (Colin Robinson). Until the release of an official trailer, the new faces are tough to predict. However, we are expecting the return of Jake McDorman to join as Jeff Suckler and Nick Kroll as Simon the Devious.
