What You Should Know About Netflix’s Bridgerton
Bridgerton is an American period drama streaming television series that will be released on Netflix. Chris Van Dusen created the series that is based on Julia Quinn’s novel series of the same name. Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Chris Van Dusen serve as the executive producers for the series while Shondaland produced the series.

Bridgerton: Plot and Cast
The show is set between 1813 and 1827 and follows the eight children of the deceased Viscount Bridgerton. Lady Whistletown serves as the mysterious narrator for part of the series and gives us more reasons to be interested in the Bridgerton family.
The show presents the Bridgerton family involved in a lot of Regency-era love drama as well as presents us a color-blind cast that has delighted all audiences. There are also multiple party sequences in the film with dancing, fireworks, and Victorian-era secret sex. Whoops, spoiler alert!
Phoebe Dynevor plays Daphne Bridgerton while Jonathan Bailey plays Anthony Bridgerton and Claudia Jessie plays Eloise Bridgerton. Rege Jean Page plays Simon Basset while Nicola Coughlan plays Penelope Featherington and Adjoa Andoh plays Lady Danbury. Lorraine Ashbourne plays Mrs. Varley, while Sabrina Bartlett plays Siena Rosso and Harriet Cains plays Philippa Featherington.
Bessie Carter plays Prudence Featherington while Ruth Gemmell plays Lady Violet Bridgerton and Florence Hunt plays Hyacinth Bridgerton. Ben Miller plays Lord Featherington, while Martins Imhangbe plays Will Mondrich and Luke Newton plays Colin Bridgerton.
Golds Rosheuvel plays Queen Charlotte, while Ruby Stokes plays Francesca Bridgerton and Will Tilston plays Gregory Bridgerton. Ruby Barker plays Marina Thompson, while Polly Walker plays Lady Portia Featherington and finally, Julie Andrews voices the mysterious Lady Whistledown.
