When Calls the Heart is a Canadian-American television drama series. Taking inspiration from Janette Oke’s book of the same name from her Canadian West series. Development of Michael Landon Jr. The series began airing on the Hallmark Channel in the United States. Here is good news for all the fans of the show. When the Heart Calls is coming for a brand new season 8.
What is When Calls the Heart all about?
The series tells the story of Elizabeth Thatcher. A young teacher accustomed to her high-society life. She receives her first classroom assignment in Coal Valley, a small coal-mining town in Western Canada which is located just south of Robb, Alberta. There, life is simple, but often fraught with challenges. Elizabeth charms almost everyone in Coal Valley, except Royal Northwest Mounted Police Constable Jack Thornton. He believes Thatcher’s wealthy father has doomed the lawman’s career by insisting he is assigned in town to protect the shipping magnate’s daughter. Wishing to thrive in this 1910 coal town, Elizabeth must learn the ways of the Canadian frontier.

The show stars Erin Krakow as Elizabeth Thatcher Thornton. Daniel Lissing as Jack Thornton, Lori Loughlin as Abigail Stanton, and Jack Wagner as Bill Avery. Similarly, others include Martin Cummins as Henry Gowen and Pascale Hutton as Rosemary LeVeaux Coulter.
When is When Calls the Heart releasing?
Season 8 of When Calls the heart is releasing on 21st February 2021. The show will air on Hallmark through the USA.
