It received a lot of praise from the critics and audiences for the performances of the cast members, story, and direction.
Exciting news ahead for the Sex Education fanatics; Netflix gave the green light to Sex Education Season 3. Yay! However the production of the third season is facing delay due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The show features an ensemble cast of Asa Butterfield, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, and Gillian Anderson.
Sex Education is about Otis Milburn (Asa Butterfield) who is an awkward teenager who realizes that he can help his peers with their sex-related problems.
When’s the Production Beginning and why?
Previously, the Production was fixed to start from May 2020. But, the plan got delayed because of the ongoing pandemic. Multiple projects whose production has been stopped by Netflix are inclusive of The Witcher Season 2, The Society Season 2, Stranger Things Season 4, etc.
As per sources, the production will be starting from August 2020 as the effect of COVID-19 will get slower. Netflix confirmed this from their end.
Release Date
Since there is a delay in the production of the third season, fans would have to wait for maybe a long time for the new episodes. No exact date has been shared by Netflix until now.
We shouldn’t be expecting the third season of Sex Education any time before 2021. Either it will release around late 2021 or early 2022.

The stars that will reprise their roles in the third season are as follows: Emma Mackey as Maeve, Asa Butterfield as Otis, Aimee Lou Wood as Aimee Gibs, Ncuti Gatwa as Eric, Ledar Williams-Stirling as Jackson, Connor Swindells as Adam and Gillian Anderson as Jean.
Also, the third season will be continuing after the incidents of the second season.
