The High Note is an American comedy-drama, directed by Nisha Ganatra and written by Flora Greeson, produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner. The star cast of the movie includes Dakota Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Kelvin Harrison Jr, Zoe Chao, Bill Pullman, June Diane Raphael, and few others. The plot of the movie follows the life of a personal assistant to a famous singer who wants to become a music producer.
The Plot of the Movie
The role of the personal assistant Maggie Sherwood is played by Dakota Johnson of the famous singer named Grace David played by Tracee Ellis Ross, who helps her in maintaining her glamorous life in Los Angeles. Maggie wants to be a music producer but spends her days fetching coffee and running errands for her boss, Grace. Soon things changes, when she met Grace’s manager Jack Robertson who gives her a choice which could change her life, and it is a tough decision for her to make. Release Date
The movie was supposed to release in theaters on May 8 but postponed the premiere to do online on 29 May, because of the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19.
